XPRO uses a genuine Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 image sensor purchased through authorized supply channels. AKEEYO has also received written confirmation from Sony verifying our use of the sensor.
Unlike dash cam brands that simply mention a Sony sensor in their specifications, AKEEYO can support this claim with official written documentation from Sony.
Will XPRO fit my Toyota RAV4?
XPRO is available in two designs for select Toyota RAV4 models:
- Without Vents: Fits select 2019–2024 RAV4 models and the 2022 RAV4 Prime.

Is XPRO a front-only dash cam?
Yes. XPRO is a single-channel dash cam designed to record the road ahead in true 4K at 25fps. It does not include a rear camera.
Is installation difficult?
XPRO is designed for a simple, non-destructive installation.
Remove the original rearview mirror housing cover, connect the included adapter to the compatible power connection near the mirror, and fit XPRO into place.
No drilling, cutting, wire splicing, or fuse-box wiring is required for standard driving recording.

Will installation damage my RAV4?
XPRO requires no permanent modification when installed correctly. It can be removed later, allowing the original mirror housing cover to be reinstalled.
Use the included trim tool and follow the installation guide to avoid damaging the original clips or interior trim.
Does XPRO record automatically?
Yes. XPRO starts recording automatically when your RAV4 is powered on.
Loop recording overwrites the oldest unlocked footage when the memory card becomes full. If the G-sensor detects an impact, the current clip is locked to help prevent it from being overwritten during normal loop recording.
How do I view and download footage?
Connect your phone to XPRO through the AKEEYO app and the camera’s Wi-Fi network.
You can view the live camera feed, review recordings, and download important clips directly to your phone without removing the microSD card.
Is GPS included?
GPS is optional and requires the XPRO GPS Module.
Once connected, XPRO can record route, speed, direction, location, and time data alongside compatible footage. You can review the video and corresponding route through the AKEEYO app or desktop player.
Does parking monitoring require an additional accessory?
Yes. The standard mirror connection powers XPRO while your RAV4 is running.
To continue monitoring after the engine is turned off, you will need either an optional ACC Hardwire Kit or OBD Power Cable.
Will parking monitoring drain my vehicle battery?
The compatible parking power accessory uses low-voltage protection to stop powering XPRO when the vehicle battery reaches its cutoff level. This helps reduce the risk of excessive battery drain.
Actual monitoring time depends on the vehicle battery condition, parking duration, temperature, and power accessory used.
What memory card is included?
XPRO includes a 64GB microSD card and supports compatible microSD cards up to 256GB.
For stable recording, use a high-quality, high-endurance microSD card that meets the recommended speed requirements. Locked clips and footage saved to your phone will not be removed by normal loop recording.
How well does XPRO record at night?
XPRO combines a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 image sensor, an F1.08 large aperture, true 4K recording, and HDR to retain more usable road detail in low-light and high-contrast conditions.
